Cheryl’s Lymphadema Wraps
Items to make lower leg wraps. 1 meter would be enough to 2 complete sets of wrap components cut across the non-stretch width of the fabric (I will need 6 strips cut about 3.25″ wide for each wrap — 21″) so 56″ fabric would yield 2 sets of strips AND a remnant that measures 14″ to 16″). Because the stretch runs in the length, my components have a max stretchy dimension of 18 inches, I need about 20″ in length (a 1/2 meter) to make each knee to ankle “wrap” but would get a complete set of 2 wraps out of the impressive width of the fabric. With 1 meter of fabric, I should be able to make 4 complete wraps (two wraps for each leg: AND have enough extra fabric to make perhaps as many as 2 sets of foot wraps (using the 14″ remnant ) .
I will need some help for appropriate raw edge finishes for this power net.
