Starry Nights Day-Night Collection 

Here’s a collection of dreamy bralette-topped intimate garments that go from day to night.  Make your choice of a camisole or bra slip to wear under clothes by day and choose between a nightgown or pajama set by night. All tops have a built-in bralette, with a support frame hidden from view and no underwires. With so many options included with this pattern, the Starry Nights Day-Night Collection could become a staple in your sewing library and your wardrobe! The typical ready-to-wear garment of a similar nature (if you can find one at all)  is only available in smaller sizes…not ours!

Pattern Details:

The Starry Nights Day-Night Collection has an incredible size range, with 9 band sizes from 28″-44″ (71 cm-112 cm), and 13 cup sizes ranging from a Bottom Cup Depth of 2.75″ up to 5.75″. That makes 117 unique sizes in all! What’s more, our Starry Nights Day-Night Collection has 2 view options to make for the cups, and can be lined with sheer cup lining or other supportive fabric if you wish. Each view can be made in your choice of a camisole length (to hip), pajama length (to mid-thigh) or a nightgown/bra slip length (to knees). What’s more, each view can have a lace insert panel added to the skirt section for an extra romantic feel. We’ve even included Capri pajama pants, all in one pattern envelope! Add a lace overlay to sheer fabric (or sheer cup lining) for a sexy (but supportive) look, or make it from stretch lace, fabric, or a combination of lace and fabric. All sizes and variations are included in the envelope.

Luna– all fabric cups, or allover lace cups, choose among three skirt lengths

Capri Pajama Pants–  available in hip sizes 33-51″ (84-130 cms)

Required Materials to make the Starry Nights Day-Night Collection:

Luna (all fabric or allover lace fabric)

• .2 metres of stable fabric such as sheer cup lining or duoplex to line the cups
• 1 m of medium to high stretch spandex blend fabrics such as cotton jersey, bamboo or spandex blends for the hip length version
• 1.5 m or less of medium to high stretch spandex blend fabrics such as cotton jersey, bamboo or spandex blends for the mid-thigh length version
• 2 m or less of medium to high stretch spandex blend fabrics such as cotton jersey, bamboo or spandex blends for the knee length version
• the Starr version requires 1 metre of stretch lace edging width between 5-8″ (17.5-20 cm)
• 1.5 metres or less of 3/8” (10 mm) wide plush-back elastic
• 1.25 metres or less of 1/2” – 3/4” (12-18 mm) wide elastic for the bottom edge of the support frame
• 1 metre or less of strap elastic, 1/2″, 5/8″ or 3/4″ (12, 15 or 18 mm) depending on your size
• 2 rings in the size of your strap elastic
• 1 bow for the centre front

Celeste (sheer fabric cups with lace overlay)

• .2 metres of stable fabric such as sheer cup lining or duoplex to line the cups
• 1 m of medium to high stretch spandex blend fabrics such as cotton jersey, bamboo or spandex blends for the hip length version
• 1.5 m or less of medium to high stretch spandex blend fabrics such as cotton jersey, bamboo or spandex blends for the mid-thigh length version
• 2 m or less of medium to high stretch spandex blend fabrics such as cotton jersey, bamboo or spandex blends for the knee length version
• 1 m of stretch lace edging 6″-10″ wide (15-25 cm), depending on your size
• the Starr version requires an additional 1 metre of stretch lace edging width between 5-8″ (17.5-20 cm)
• 1.5 metres or less of 3/8” (10 mm) wide plush-back elastic
• 1.25 metres or less of 1/2” – 3/4” (12-18 mm) wide elastic for the bottom edge of the support frame
• 1 metre or less of strap elastic, 1/2″, 5/8″ or 3/4″ (12, 15 or 18 mm) depending on your size
• 2 rings in the size of your strap elastic
• 1 bow for the centre front

Capri Pajama Pants 

• 2 m or less of low to medium stretch or spandex blend fabrics such as cotton jersey, bamboo or other spandex blends
• 1.3 metres or less of 3/8″ or wider elastic for the waistband
• 2 bows for the side hem detail (optional)

Suggested Fabrics:

• cotton jersey
• cotton/spandex blends
• rayon or bamboo /spandex blends
• polyester/spandex blends
• sheer cup lining or duoplex or other stable fabric to line the cups
• power net or firm stretch spandex for the inner support frame
• lace edging 6-10” wide to use as an overlay on the support fabric (Celeste and Starr views)
• we suggest pre-washing to shrink any fabrics with cotton, rayon or bamboo for best results
