Our Sheer Bra Kit includes our stunning 15-Denier in your choice of sumptuous shades as well as all the materials to make any of our Bra or Bralette Patterns in your preferred colour conveniently pre-cut and packaged! You can choose one of several different findings kits with the option of it being the same or a contrasting colour to your fabric choice. Add a touch of whimsy to your next bra sewing adventure with one of our Sheer Bra Kits, and unleash your creativity.

Materials Included:

Every Sheer Bra Kit includes the necessary materials to make any one of our bra patterns! The Kit includes:

• 15-Denier fabric for cups that are as fashionable as they are comfortable!
• Sheer Cup lining for additional support
• Power Net fabric for bands (Doubleknit Powernet may be substituted if necessary)
• Co-ordinating Large or Small Bra Findings kit of your choice
• Rings & Sliders
• Decorative bow

For Those of you who are looking for a sheer bra with significant support we recommend making the Ingrid Bra, or the Shelley Bra- more seams means more support!

Nervous to sew multiple layers of fabric? Try joining them together using our Quick Stick Fabric Adhesive and work with them as if they were a single layer!

*Please Note – This bra kit contains everything you need to make a beautiful Classic, Sherri, Shelley, Ingrid, Linda Bra or a Sweet Sixteen bralette- but it does NOT contain an underwire or Cut and Sew Foam Padding. For the Ruby, Sapphire or Amethyst Patterns you may need to purchase Cut-and-Sew Foam!

15 Denier Sheer Nylon Fabric

Our 15 Denier Sheer Nylon Fabric is a very lightweight and sheer fabric (think belly dance veils or vintage peignoir sets). This fabric is used as a virtually invisible lining behind lace cups or as an internal power bar. The fabric does, however, have some mechanical stretch in the crosswise direction. One of the most common uses for 15 Denier is for the dance industry, using the fabric for dance veils, or for shirring over another fabric. Because the fabric is so sheer and light, it will gather up to many times its original size, adding luxurious fullness. However, the extra fullness does not translate to added weight or bulk. In fact, when using this fabric for veils, it is so light in weight that dancers often have to weigh down the edges with a row of sequins so they can control the fabric during dance moves.
