We’ve recently been requested to make panty kits our of our Rio Nylon Spandex Fabric. Here they are – just what you have been asking for – Panty kits pre-packaged to go along with the Craftsy class, Sewing Panties. It’s a complete kit for your sewing pleasure.  This kit is made specifically for any of our Panty patterns, including our Veronica Panty pattern , Betty Boy Shorts pattern, or the Cheryl Back Seam Panty pattern, which are available separately. If you have taken the Craftsy class and drafted your own pattern, this kit is enough for the drafted version too. You’ll have enough material for one pair for hip sizes 32″-54″ (81-137 cm). Smaller sizes may get two pair from this amount of fabric. The Rio Nylon Spandex Panty Kit is available in over 3 dozen striking colours.

There is something for everyone with Rio – our new line of nylon spandex swimwear and lingerie fabric.  In addition to the striking array of colours – from chic neutrals to jazzy brights – our Rio fabric features a wonderfully firm stretch and recovery. Rio is perfect for making swimwear (as both your outer fabric and/or lining), panties, shapewear, and can even be used for bra bands for smaller cups. Not only does this fabric feel great against the skin, but it also provides some tummy control and gives a smooth profile under clothing. It also co-operates well during the cutting and sewing process. Rio really does have it all!

Materials Included:

Every Rio Nylon Spandex Panty Kit includes the necessary materials to make one pair of panties based on our pattern. The Kit includes:

• 0.50 m of Rio Nylon Spandex Fabric in your choice of colour
• 2.7 m of our Lingerie Elastic in either white, beige or black. Since the elastic is intended to be turned under the leg and waist edges, we choose the colour that will blend the best.
