Nursing Bra Pattern

Everyone knows that you need comfort and convenience when nursing a newborn. The Ezi-Sew Nursing Bra Pattern offers both. This pattern is functional, but at the same time, makes a nice bra style you will not be ashamed to wear! The Nursing Bra features an internal sling that supports the breast while the outer covering is lowered during feeding.  The sling attaches to a two part clip and holds the shoulder strap to the frame seam of the bra, while the outer shell is free to be raised or lowered.

Our One-handed Nursing Bra Clips are the perfect way to lower the outer shell for feeding. A hungry, wriggling baby can be held securely, while unhooking the clip with one hand. For complete instructions on how to install nursing clips, please see our blog post: Find it Hard to Feed the Baby?

The Nursing Bra Pattern is not a Pin-up Girls Pattern, therefore, not designed by us. However, we knew that our customers needed a good nursing bra pattern. We carry this pattern in all of its size ranges. Please see our full blog post about how to put the Ezi-Sew Nursing Bra pattern together.

Three size ranges to choose from – at least 12 sizes in each envelope.

109 – 32 B, C, D, E to 40 B, C, D, E (Australian Sizes 12 B, C, D, E to 18 B, C, D, E)
110 – 32 F, G, H, I to 40 F, G, H, I (Australian sizes 12 F, G, H, I to 18 F, G, H, I)
108 – 42 C, D, E, F to 48 C, D, E, F (Australian sizes 20 C, D, E, F to 26 C, D, E, F)

.4 m (½ yd) Power Net for the back
.25 m (⅓ yd) All-over lace, Simplex or Duoplex for the cups
.8 m (1 yd) of ⅜” Plush Back Band Elastic for top band
1.1 m (1 ¼ yd) of  ½” or ⅝” Plush Back Band Elastic for the bottom band
1 m (1 ⅛ yd) Fold-Over Binding
1 Hook and Eye 3 x 3
1 m (1 yd) Strap Elastic ¾” wide (18 mm)
1 set of One handed maternity clips
1 set of Sliders and Rings ¾” (18 mm)
1 Bow for trimming
