Schmetz Ballpoint Sewing Machine Needles

Our Schmetz Ballpoint Sewing Machine Needles will be a mainstay in your bra-making needle drawer. Ballpoint needles are used for sewing knit fabrics. The needles have a slightly blunted tip, that allows it to slide past the yarns of the fabric. This avoids snagging or damaging the fabric as well as skipping stitches.

These needles are used for knits without spandex. We We offer 3 sizes, the smallest 70/10 size is good for Antron and other very fine knits, while the medium 80/12 is good for Simplex, Duoplex and most of the regular fabrics. The largest size 90/14 will be good for most of the Power Knits.
