You asked for it! Panty Kits pre-packaged to go along with the Craftsy class, Sewing Panties. It’s a complete kit for your sewing pleasure. The Heathered Organic Cotton Panty Kit includes 60 centimetres of our luxurious Heathered Organic Cotton Jersey Fabric with Spandex and your choice of Lingerie Elastic or Plush Waistband Elastic depending on what pattern you want to make. This kit is made specifically for our panty pattern so you’ll have enough material for one pair for hip sizes 32″-54″ (81-137 cm). We are now offering two options of elastic depending on if you want to make men’s and woman’s underwear.

Please be sure to pick the correct elastic for the pattern you are planning to make. The Plush Waistband Elastic is needed for the Men’s Underwear and can be used on the other patterns for an exposed elastic waistband, but you will still need Lingerie elastic for the legs of the Cheryl and Veronica patterns. And the Cheryl, Betty, and Veronica patterns all use the Lingerie Elastic.

The Heathered Organic Cotton is a fabric made of 100% Organic Cotton and is GOTS certified and Oeko-Tex Certified. It is naturally cool in summer and warm in winter. I cannot imagine there are many fabrics more comfortable year-round than bamboo rayon. Since it is a natural fabric, we advise pre-washing it prior to use. If you find that it curls while you are working with it, a good shot of spray starch, sometimes called Fabric Sizing (found in the grocery store) will tame it.

Materials Included:

Every Heathered Organic Cotton Underwear Kit includes the necessary materials to make one pair of men’s or woman’s underwear based on our patterns. The Kit includes:

• 0.50 m of Heathered Organic Cotton Jersey Fabric
• 2.7 m of our Lingerie Elastic in either white, beige or black or 1.2 m of Plush Waistband Elastic in either white, beige, platinum or black. Depending on what pattern you want to make. (There is no lingerie elastic in platinum)
