Customers purchasing our Grommet Setting Press may also want the Grommet Hole Cutting Dies that fit with it. Forget banging holes with a hand punch and a mallet, one easy pull on the handle and the deed is done! So quick, too – we did an entire corset with holes and grommets in less than 10 minutes!

The Grommet Hole Cutting Dies are made from heavy duty steel. The high quality Dies will keep you setting your own grommets for years and years to come. Choose the size #00 – 5/32″ or 4 mm hole size or the larger size #2 – 5/16″ or 8 mm hole size. The holes are purposely sized to cut a wee bit smaller than the grommet, to allow the fabric to grip the grommet as it is set.

Please note – the Grommet Hole Cutting Dies will NOT work without the Grommet Press!

If you require Grommet Hole Cutting Dies in sizes other than #00 or #2, they can be special ordered in all sizes between #00 and #5. Please just contact us with your request.

Sizes Available:

Size #00 – 5/32″ or 4 mm to fit #00 grommets

How to Use:

Using the Grommet Hole Cutting Dies is easy. First, measure out and mark where you would like to set your Grommets, on your garment. With your Grommet Press, first use the appropriately sized Grommet Hole Cutting Die to cut the holes where you have made your marks. Then, change to your Grommet Setting Die Size either #00 or #2. Place the post half of the grommet face down on the bottom part of the die. Place your garment, face down, over the spindle, so that it is lying flat against the flat part of the grommet. The post should now be poking all the way through the hole in your garment.

Now place the collar, right side up, over the post. The post should now be sticking up through the collar. While holding the garment with one hand, simply press the handle of the Grommet Press downward to set the Grommet. Voila! you now have a functional Grommet!
