Our Matte Glissonette Sheer Stretch Fabric is used to make costumes, skating outfits, or dance wear. The Glissonette is used for areas that require a nude appearance, such as part of the back, or a deep V in the front. The beige colour works very well for this type of application. Customers also use this fabric in club wear and seduction or confection bras, where the overall see-through effect of the garment is more important than the support it offers. This fabric has a plain matte finish, not shiny.

We use this fabric under stretch lace as well as a stand-alone fabric. Either way you use it, it does not add any bulk to the garment. It is a very lightweight and sheer stretch knit. This fabric is used in costumes, such as figure skating, gymnastics, latin dance or ballroom dance costumes.

Matte Glissonette is 58-60″ (147-150 cm) wide with stretch in both the crosswise and lengthwise directions. 85% Nylon/15% Spandex blend. Available in 3 colours. The white colour is dye-able, as the fabric is a Nylon/Spandex blend. Dye the fabric with any good quality acid dye.
