Stretch Satin Mirror Satin Spandex

Our Stretch Satin Mirror Satin Spandex (it is known by all those names!) can be used for a variety of garments. Customers use this fabric to make bikinis, skating and dance costumes, panties, camisoles, teddies, bras, and bralettes. This satin fabric can be used alone for bra cups and backs of small to medium size bras or over cut-and-sew foam for a luxurious looking bra cup. You can also apply fusible interfacing to the back of the satin fabric in order to beef up the fabric and make it less stretchy. Many manufacturers use Stretch Satin because of its draping quality and beautiful shine.

The Peacock Blue satin is a lighter weight fabric. The rest of the colours are a heavier weight fabric.

The Satin is conveniently dyed according to the Pantone Fashion, Home + Interiors colour chart. Each of our fabric colours is shown with the corresponding Pantone colour code. If you have the Pantone chart, you may check our colours against the chart for an accurate colour depiction. If you would like to purchase swatches of the full-colour range, please select the sampler pack.  Our Stretch Satin Mirror Satin Satin Spandex is dyed to match many of our other fabrics and supplies, such as our Duoplex, Stretch Mesh, Power Net, and Double Knit Power Net; as well as our Band Elastic, Satin Strap Elastic, and Plush Underwire Casing. The Stretch Satin is 56-58″ wide, is made from 90% nylon and 10% spandex, and stretches 75% lengthwise.

Lightweight – Peacock Blue
Heavyweight – White, Ivory, Pearl Pink, Dusty Rose, Fuchsia, Red, Lilac, Purple, Bluebird Blue, Turquoise, Navy Blue, Charcoal, and Black.
