Sheer Stripe Duoplex

Customers use this Sheer Stripe Duoplex Bra Cup Fabric to make lightweight but supportive bra cups and front bridges or frames. The fabric also works well for bralettes and some corsets. This fabric is a jersey, therefore, it has some mechanical stretch in the crosswise direction. The Sheer Stripe Duoplex looks incredible when paired with laces to make bra cups. You can coordinate fabric and lace with hardly any effort.

The Sheer Stripe Duoplex Bra Cup Fabric is available in light copper, which is a dark, caramel colour. The light copper colour is really lovely against tanned or darker skin tones. The combination of sheer and stripes in the fabric makes this a very interesting addition to your bra-making fabric collection. It is sexy but modest, cool to wear yet it is still easy to sew.

This fabric is low-stretch and therefore does not have enough stretch to use for a regular bra band. However, the fabric drapes very nicely and lends itself to lounge and nightwear perfectly. Sheer Stripe Duoplex is 58-60″ (147-150 cm) wide with a bit of mechanical give in the crosswise direction. This means you can substitute it for any pattern calling for duoplex, simplex or low-stretch fabric.
