Our knitted Tunnel Elastic Sport Bra Elastic is a professional quality elastic. This elastic is used for the bottom edge of sport bras, compression garments, and medical garments. It is intended to be used inside of a casing or turned under – hence the name “tunnel” elastic.

The larger width elastics such as the 2″, 3″, 4″ and 5″ widths are suitable for long line bras or medical support garments. This elastic is very strong. The larger width elastics are also used as a substitute for a bra back inside a garment, such as inside a strapless dress or bridal gown. Simply sew hooks and eyes to the elastic ends and hook it up before zipping up the dress.

The elastic is available in 8 widths, you are sure to find the width you need! The Tunnel Elastic is available in the following widths: ¼” (6 mm) wide, 1″ (25 mm) wide, 1¼” (32 mm) wide, 1½” (38 mm) wide, 1¾” (45 mm) wide, 2″ (51 mm) wide, 3″ (75 mm) wide, 4″ (100 mm) and 5″ (125 mm) wide. Available colours vary per width.

Be aware that this product contains rubber, so it is NOT Latex-free. Those will latex allergies should avoid using this product.

¼” (6 mm) – use along the neckline, armholes and legs of swimwear and the legs of panties. Available in White and Black.
1″ (25 mm) – use for the bottom edge of sport bras or as a waistband for men’s underwear. Available in White and Black.
1¼” (32 mm) – use for the bottom edge of sport bras or as a waistband for men’s underwear. Available in White.
1½” (38 mm) – use for the bottom edge of sport bras or as a waistband for men’s underwear. Available in White and Black.
1¾” (45 mm) – use for the bottom edge of sport bras or as a waistband for men’s underwear. Available in Black.
2″ (51 mm) – use for the bottom edge of sport bras, strapless bras, or compression garments. Available in White and Black.
3″ (75 mm) – use for long line bras, compression garments, and medical garments. Available in White and Black.

4″ (100 mm) – use for long line bras, compression garments, and medical garments. Available in White and Black.
5″ (125 mm) – use for long line bras, compression garments, and medical garments. Available in White and Black.
