Clear Elastic Mobilon Elastic
This Clear Elastic Mobilon Elastic is chlorine resistant and made from latex-free polyurethane. This high quality elastic features excellent retention, even when stitched through. The Clear Elastic grips the skin while wearing, making it the perfect elastic to use for dance and skating costumes; where elastic ride-up is a problem. This item is clear and it is virtually invisible, even under lace. This elastic is very thin, but is quite strong. This is a multipurpose elastic and is used in a wide variety of garments. Available in 3 widths – ¼” (6 mm), ⅜” (10 mm), ½” (13 mm).
Customers use the Mobilon Elastic, also called Plastic Elastic or Clear Elastic in a variety of garments. This elastic is used as an invisible waistband on a lace boy-shorts, behind stretch lace to keep the lace from gapping, or as a simple stabiliser under any stretch lace. The elastic is very thin, it will lie flat and not cause a bump in the fabric. However, it is still quite strong, making this a great stretchable stabiliser.
This elastic is also great for Swimwear. It is chlorine resistant and made from latex-free polyurethane. This elastic is thinner than regular swimsuit elastic, therefore, it can be used with thinner materials. Using the Mobilon Elastic will give your swimwear less “bulky” seams. The Mobilon Elastic is not quite as strong as regular swimwear elastic, use for garments that do not require strong support or heavy use.
The Mobilon Elastic is available in 3 widths. Choose a wider elastic where more support is needed, choose a thinner elastic where only light support or stabilisation is needed. Widths include:
