Description
Fancy Fold-Over Elastic Binding
We have purchased this Fancy Fold-Over Elastic Binding straight from our industrial supplier. This Fold-Over Elastic is a great multipurpose binding, used anywhere you would need an elastic binding, but want to add a fancier touch. This elastic is used on the neckline of bras, as well as up the front straps of a bra to cover the raw edges – without losing any fabric in a turn-under. Simply enclose the cut edge of the fabric in the fold of the trim and stitch. In our photo gallery, the biding is shown open and closed. This Fancy Fold-Over Elastic is also excellent for panty trim and camisoles too! The Binding is 3/8″ wide. Available by the full or part metre, in White. Latex-Free.
Bra-Makers tip – use a thin piece of ribbon or non-stretch fabric inside the fold to make thin straps on bras, camisoles, and other lingerie.
Colours Available:
The Fold-Over Elastic Binding is available in White only.
Uses:
Use this multipurpose Fancy Binding anywhere that requires a 3/8″ wide elastic binding, with a fancier, decorative touch. This elastic is used to trim the neckline of bras, the same way our regular Fold Over Elastic Binding is used. Our customers also use this elastic up the front straps of a bra, to cover the raw edges. Applying this elastic to straps is easier than turning the strap under and prevents you from losing fabric from turning under. Simply enclose the fabric in the fold of the elastic trim and stitch down.
Customers also use this elastic as a decorative panty trim. To make thin, non-stretch straps for bras, camisoles, and other lingerie, simply enclose a thin piece of ribbon or non-stretch fabric inside the fold.
