Neckline Elastic Trims

Neckline Elastic trims are decorative and stretchy trims that are sewn along the edge of the fabric to finish it neatly. Although primarily used for bras, our customers use these elastic trims for other sewing projects. Use these trims for decorative chokers, baby headbands and baby outfits, wedding garters, and bra strap trim. We have a number of neckline elastic trims that colour match to our standard fabric and power net colours. In addition some of these trims are included in our bra kits and findings kits.

Neckline Elastic Trims are almost always sewn on with a zig-zag stitch; which allows the fabric to stretch along with the trim. You will need two passes of stitching to attach the trim to the fabric. Keep the zig-zag stitch small on the first pass and stitch as close to the fancy edge as you can. Turn the trim to the inside of the garment and zig-zag a second time, with a slightly larger stitch.
