Lingerie, Swim, Clear Elastics
Who knew there were so many elastics for intimate apparel? We found out and now we carry all the Lingerie Swim Clear Elastics you need for any sewing project you have. We have a good selection of these basic elastics in several colours, styles and widths. Lingerie elastics are soft on both sides, with no fancy trim on the edges. This allows you to sew it, casing style, to the legs and waist of underwear or along the armholes of camisoles.
We carry Filpar Swim Elastic as our go-to elastic for sewing around the edges of swimsuits, tankinis and bikinis. It has a ridged, siliconized finish that makes it easy to sew using regular domestic machine, or industrial machines. It is a dream to work with. One of my favourite uses for the Filpar is inside bikini straps. Clear elastic, also called Mobilon, or plastic elastic, is popular for swimwear, and for costumes, and underwear.
