Fold-Over Elastic Trims

Some of the most interesting trims for bra-making are the Fold-Over Elastic Trims.  Not only are they decorative but they also provide a nice, clean finish to the raw edge of the cloth. Most fold-over elastic trims are flat trims, with a crease along the centre line. These are usually plain trims, providing a solid colour edge along the neckline of a bra cup. However, you can also sew it to the top and bottom bands of a bralette. Or, how about using it as waist or leg finishes on panties or garter belts? You can fold the trim and press it before you sew. This will help you align the edge of the fabric to the centre of the trim. Simply zig-zag along the edge and you are done!

The factory pre-folds some of the Fold-over Elastic trims. This means that the centre crease exists when you buy it. This type of trim almost always features a decorative picot along the centre line.  No matter what the style, we offer all of our fold-over trims in several widths and many colours.
