Boob Camp August 2017

Here we are again as we finish up another one! These are the makes from Boob Camp August 2017. As you know, we always start off making the basic white Classic bra just to perfect the fit. Then we start playing with colours, fabrics and techniques to make some really lovely bras. Here they are:

Here’s a Shelley made with the teal and black lace, black duoplex and findings

Everyone loves this lace and no wonder! Here it is paired with fuchsia in a Shelley make.

Not a Shelley this time, but an off-set horizontal cup (split into three pieces) This makes the bust really round and there is no seam right over the nipple.

There is nothing plain about “plain grey”. Platinum fabric, findings and lace used here in a Classic with a split lower cup.

We restyled the off-set cup into a totally different look. This one uses the black cherry and blue lace with black cherry findings

Here’s an ivory bra with a slight variation. She added fold-over binding to the neckline edge rather than use the elastic trim. Yes, she still used stabilizer tape under the fold-over. It’s essential, especially in the larger sizes to keep the wires tacked back to the wall.

One of the ladies wanted a bustier bra, with foam cups and a longline band to the waist. We were happy to accommodate her here at Boob Camp August 2017.  It was not difficult as we were able to fit here easily into the MH style foam cups.

Every now and then we get someone who brings a project to Boob Camp that needs a bit of help or guidance. Here’s a Freedom Corset with a slice of stretch leopard lace attached under the top binding.

The same gal also started making a swimsuit. Boob Camp proved to be the perfect place to get fitted!
