*Please note*: Bra Patterns are universal. Preference is just as important as breast type – we recommend choosing a Bra Pattern that is appealing to you!
The Second Step to Finding the Perfect Pattern:
Be aware of what types of Bra Patterns that we have. Since we currently offer almost 20 Bra Patterns to choose from, let us help you narrow down your decision.
Bra-makers Supply has 3 types of Bra Patterns:
Full Band Patterns
These all include a full bra band, which refers to the fabric that encircles the cups. The advantages to using a Full Band Bra Pattern is that the underwires are always optional. If you like the style of the bra but are unable to, or dislike wearing underwire – these are for you!
Partial Band Patterns
These bras do require underwires, as they are integral for support. Despite needing underwire, these patterns are versatile. A partial band bra can accept a front closure, and can be adapted to make other garments such as: Posing Suits, Dance Costumes and Swimwear!
Sport Bra Patterns
These bras are for the woman who needs extra support. Our sports bra patterns give you the choice for the level of support you want or need for whatever it is you’re doing. Whether you need something for yoga, volleyball or equestrian jumping – our sports bra has you covered (literally!)

Happy Sewing!
I do not see my shape listed – fuller on top than the bottom and close set. My bottom cup depth is a D cup, but I have the width of an F cup, and need to add about 1 inch to the width of the upper cup from standard patterns. My breast tissue is very dense and frequently need to repeat a mammogram to get a good reading. Any pattern suggestions for that shape? Thank you.
