This multipurpose elastic is a firm Plush Back Elastic with great holding power, but it does soften up slightly upon washing. This elastic is perfect for making bra bands. Our Firm Bra Band Plush Back Elastic is latex-free, great for those with latex sensitivities.

The Firm Band Elastic is made from 80% nylon/20% spandex. Light colours will dye to a darker colour very well.

 Specific Uses per Width:

½”  (12 mm) – use for bottom edges of small to medium-sized bras. We recommend using ½” Firm Band Elastic where ⅜” is called for by some patterns.
