Violet Aubertin (verified owner) –
I purchased this kit but did not get enough of the scuba to make my front frame on the classic pinup. Even by seaming in the middle the width for proper layout with the greatest degree of stretch is not wide enough. If I can do it with seams and I’m not sure it will work it will take two seams and they would likely have to go mid cup to make it work. So if you have a wider frame it’s something to take into consideration. Would using the stretch in the least for this piece work? Enquiring minds want to know.
Beverly Johnson –
The band and/ or frame can be seamed anywhere along its length. I have often seamed the frame directly under the cup at the seam/ notch, in order to save fabric or to position a part of the design where I want it. However the back band must be cut on the DOGS in order for the band to stretch around the body. The front doesn’t matter because you will likely stabilize under that anyway.
