Any garment that you wish to lace up can be finished in minutes with our Metal Grommet Tape Metal Eyelet Tape. Using the tape will save hours of grommet application. Simply spread the folded edge and sew to the centre back or front raw edges (both sides). You can then sew a channel for optional boning to keep the area from twisting.

100% nylon, for optimum dye ability.

We recommend this product for use in display, sample and fitting garments as well as for decorative purposes in finished garments. For finished garments that rely upon grommet lacing for support we recommend our Metal Corset Grommets.

The Metal Grommet Tape Metal Eyelet Tape is available in 2 colours, White and Black. The White tape is dye able.

Uses:

The Metal Grommet Tape Metal Eyelet Tape is useful for a variety of projects and applications. The tape can be used for a functional lace-up for the back of a corset or bustier. Our customers also like to use The Grommet Tape as a decorative lace-up detail on the front of a corset, any type of costume, and on lingerie. Made from Nylon, the White Eyelet Tape is also dye able; allowing you to colour match.

The tape features a wide sew-in side, giving you room to add a piece of boning beside it. Adding boning will help keep your functional lace-up or lace-up detail from puckering or twisting.

How to Use:

Our Metal Grommet Tape Metal Eyelet Tape works as both a functional lace-up on a corset or waist cincher, or a as decorative lace-up detail. The Tape is easy to apply and is a time saving alternative to setting your own grommets. Simply spread the folded edge and sew to the centre back or front raw edges (both sides).
