Countdown to Taiwan

This is it…the final days in Canada before I leave for Taiwan! Why am I going, you may ask?

Is it a

buying trip – no, although I won’t completely rule out the possibility of going to the lace and fabric markets over there!
pleasure trip – no, although I am very happy to be going
bucket list trip- no, but this trip made my bucket list longer!

I have been asked to teach Bra design & Draft at the University in Taipei! I will be teaching April 19/20 but I am actually there for 6 days, leaving plenty of time for some sight-seeing.

One of the ladies that knows our European distributor is actually living in Taiwan, and she has kindly offered to take me around to the lace and fabric markets. How nice is that?

I will be blogging from Taiwan if I can get an adaptor for my Ipad (you would think that would not be a big deal)

I am excited to go and share bra-making with some new students! I’ve had my hair cut and I am just putting the last minute touches on the CD presentation. So I am ready! Taipei, here I come!
