Nylon Tricot Stabiliser Seam Tape

Our lightweight Nylon Tricot Stabiliser Seam Tape is perfect for using under laces and for covering the seams on a cut and sew bra. Use the tape to add a professionally finished touch to any lace bra or lingerie. The tape is very soft against the skin, therefore will protect from any rough edges or seams.

The tape is 5/16″ (8 mm) in width, made from 100% Nylon. The nylon tape will curve easily with the heat of an iron and accepts dye easily with a good quality acid dye. Available in White and Black.

Sold by the metre (39″). Anyone wishing to buy a full roll, should order 125 metres. Full rolls are available here.

The Nylon Tricot Stabiliser Seam Tape is available in 2 basic colours: White and Black. The White dyes easily, with a good quality acid dye.

Uses:

The Nylon Tricot Stabiliser Seam Tape is used to cover seams on the inside of a cut and sew bra, bustier, or any lace lingerie. The tape is very soft against the skin and will protect from any rough edges or seams. Use the Stabiliser Tape to add a professional finish to the inside of your bras and lingerie. The tape is rigid and does not stretch.

To use, simply lay the tape on the underside of your garment, centred on the seam you wish to cover. We generally recommend pressing the seam open flat, to keep your seam smooth and flat. Topstitch on either side of the seam, catching the tape on both sides. The tape will also help stabilise and strengthen the seam.

The tape is also useful as a stabiliser under any portion of a lace garment, that may need a bit of extra strength. Available in 2 basic colours, the white is dye-able.
